Tilton is one of the fastest growing communities in New Hampshire and considered one of the best places to shop, dine and stay when in the Lakes Region. We are the gateway to the Lakes Region and White Mountains for the many tourists who visit New Hampshire each year. In addition, Tilton is also the main access route to the cities of Laconia and Franklin from Interstate 93. This translates to more traffic and visitors than any other community in Central New Hampshire, which ultimately generates more calls for police service.
